As Justin Bieber premiered his new film Never Say Never in Los Angeles last night, we sure didn’t expect Leona Lewis (pictured) to be the one grabbing our attention!

As the songstress stepped out on the blue carpet, the combination of a sophisticated new hairdo and a figure-hugging outfit had everyone’s head turning.

Leona’s sun kissed, flowing locks have been replaced with a new poker straight, deep chocolate do topped off with a blunt, eye-grazing fringe. And boy, doesn’t she look all the better for it!

And it’s not just the girlish hairstyle that’s been ditched, but so too has her old style. In a black pencil skirt and a statement sheer top with a pair of hot pink lips to cover her modesty (an ensemble which she reportedly designed herself) Leona looks like she means business.

Perhaps this is a sign of things to come and we’ll see a new musical direction from the X Factor queen. We’ll have to wait and see!
